HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER OF PRINCE OF PEACE?
We encourage regular attendees to become members of Prince of Peace as a commitment to caring about our congregation and doing life together. If you are interested in membership, you can call Susan Klemstein at 847-359-3451, x113 to request a new member packet or download the New Member Class registration form and submit the form to the church office. Or, you can also fill out the registration form and submit it online below.
The New Member Classes will help you get acquainted with life at Prince of Peace and the teachings of the congregation. It will also help you get connected to other people in our church community and help you feel more at home. Going through the classes does not obligate you to join the congregation. You're very welcome to sit in and see where God leads!

UPCOMING NEW MEMBER CLASSES
Our next round of New Member Classes will be held weekly on Saturdays from 9-11am beginning February 4.
The first session on February 4, called Starting Point, will help you learn about Prince of Peace’s vision, values, and ministries. This portion of the class is required for all new members.
The remaining 5 sessions (February 11-March 11) are a discussion-based class using the book Getting to Know Jesus to explore Martin Luther’s core teachings and help us grow in relationship with Jesus and each other. This portion of the class is encouraged but optional for Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod transfers, and it is a membership requirement for all other faith backgrounds. The Getting to Know Jesus sessions are also open to existing members of the congregation who would like a refresher on our Lutheran beliefs.
Childcare is available during these classes by contacting the church office in advance. Please also submit your registration form in advance so that we can prepare for you.
We look forward to getting to know you better, answering your questions, and sharing information to help you decide if Prince of Peace is your church home!
