Sundays from 6:30-8:30pm

WELCOME TO FUEL!

Are you feeling peaceful, stressed, calm, disorganized, grumpy, mean, loving , joyful, sad, unsettled, or just DONE? Are you new to church and/or youth group? Are you a "seasoned" youth group participant? Are you an underclassman? Are you an upperclassman? We want you to come just as you are, wherever you are coming from, and however you are feeling. FUEL is the high school ministry at Prince of Peace. We're concerned with joining you just where you are at, and being real with you. Jesus accepts people and relates with them just where they are at. We want to do the same. We want to connect with Jesus and with each other. So...let's be REAL together...real silly, real faith-filled, real happy, real stressed, real peaceful.....

WHAT WE DO ON SUNDAYS ( OR, The "Usual")

We meet from 6:30-8:30pm on Sundays, September through May at Prince of Peace. We have a lot of fun and enjoy one another, as we learn and connect with God... Through a combination of games, large group teaching, small groups, and music and singing with the band, we encourage one another and lift each other up.

Just a word on small groups - ESSENTIAL! We feel that it is crucial to get connected to others in a smaller group to talk about the lesson, and process life together. Your leader and small group friends can be your biggest cheerleaders, and lifelines.

Mission Trip 2018 - Uniontown, PA - July 21-28

Just a short distance from Pittsburgh, Uniontown settles among the rolling highlands of southwestern Pennsylvania. In 1967, Uniontown was the birthplace of the McDonald's Big Mac sandwich, and there is even a museum to mark the popular snack and icon of fast food. As with most communities in this region, Uniontown's economy waned during the recent deindustrialization, when the steel industry restructured and many jobs went elsewhere, including offshore. This decline continues today and the population is about half its peak of 1940.

A large modern school awaits your group in Uniontown. Well within reach of the main downtown, perched on a hill with great views, with ample space for the groups, this air-conditioned facility will be a great temporary home for your group. Enjoy the track and large fields for recreation as well.

How You'll Serve

A variety of jobs await you here. Many homes just need a spruce up with paint. Others need a completely new porch. Ramps are also planned. Impacting specific neighborhoods and clusters of homes and residents with needs in the city are foremost in the plan.

The cost for the trip is $350 and there are scholarships available.  To sign-up for the trip you will need to register at two different places one for Prince of Peace by clicking here and one for Group (the organization we are teaming with) by clicking here.

If you have any question you can contact Pastor Matt Koenig at matt@poppalatine.org or call him at 847-359-3451.
