We meet in homes two Sundays a month from 6:30-8:30pm. We begin with snacks & fellowship for the first half hour, and then participate in an ice breaker, open in prayer, and commence our study. We always end by writing a prayer request and placing them all in a basket. Each person takes one home and prays for that person for the two weeks until our next study.
We have a special tie to the Ladish family, missionaries in Burkina Faso, West Africa. We provide ongoing support for them, host them with fellowship dinners when they are in the area, and send them supplies with funds we have collected. We also like to serve our Palatine community with Thanksgiving Baskets through the Palatine Township program.
We enjoy many fellowship activities as couples: attending movies, pot luck dinners; barbecues, and game nights. Recent studies we have done include: "Satan’s Lies" and "Harrison Town" by Michael Newman, Revelation, Acts, Be Rich, The Story, and other sermon series related studies.
